Welcome to Casperia! These Terms of Service govern your use of our virtual world, which is based on OpenSimulator. By registering and using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the grid.
1. General Provisions
1.1 Scope: These terms apply to all users of the Casperia grid, including guests and registered residents.
1.2 Changes: We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect once published on this page.
2. Accounts and Access
2.1 Registration: Provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person unless we explicitly permit otherwise.
2.2 Account Security: You're responsible for keeping your password secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and let us know.
2.3 Suspension: We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
3. Virtual Content and Economy
3.1 Ownership: Content you create remains your intellectual property. You grant us the right to host and manage it within the grid.
3.2 Copyright: Do not upload content you don't have permission to use. See our DMCA Policy for how copyright complaints are handled.
3.3 Currency: Any in-world currency has no real-world monetary value and exists solely for use within the grid.
4. Code of Conduct
No harassment, hate speech, or content that violates applicable law. No spam, fraud, or impersonation of other residents or staff. No griefing, exploiting, or disrupting other users. Region and parcel owners may set additional rules for their own land, as long as those rules don't conflict with these Terms.
5. Privacy
We store account information and in-world activity data needed to operate the grid. We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties except where required by law. If you travel to other grids via Hypergrid, that grid's own privacy practices apply once you arrive there.
6. Disclaimer
The grid is provided as-is, without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We aren't liable for data loss or technical issues, though we work to keep backups and minimize downtime.
7. Contact
