Creating an Account
Sign up for free from the home page. You'll get a full inventory and a home region assigned automatically.
Common Tasks
Manage Your Account
- Password & email - Change both from My Account.
- Profile - Update your About text, picks and classifieds from your Profile page.
- Regions - See regions you own or manage from My Account.
Search, Friends & Regions
- Search - Find places, events, classifieds, people, groups and land for sale.
- Friends - Manage your friends list from the Friends page or in-world.
- Destinations - Browse the Destination Guide for popular and featured places.
Using Search From the Viewer
Your viewer's Search window uses the same categories as the Search page in a normal browser:
- Places - find regions and parcels by name, description or keyword.
- Land Sales - find parcels that are set for sale.
- Events - browse upcoming events; click one to see its details.
- Classifieds - resident-created ads for stores, clubs and services.
- People - search for residents by name.
- Groups - look up groups, then join them in-world.
Troubleshooting
- A search tab shows no results: that category may simply have nothing listed yet - land only appears once a parcel owner sets it For Sale and enables Show in Search, and events/classifieds only appear once a resident creates one.
- Pages look cut off in the viewer: try resizing the window, or open the same page in an external browser instead.
- Password problems: use Forgot Password to reset it, then restart your viewer.
Common Questions
How do I visit other grids?
This grid supports Hypergrid teleporting - use a Hypergrid address in your viewer's map or search to visit another open grid.
