Virtual Worlds with OpenSimulator
OpenSimulator is an open-source platform for running 3D virtual worlds. It’s compatible with the Second Life protocol, so you can visit Casperia using any Second Life-compatible viewer — see our Get a Viewer page to get started.
OpenSimulator supports full in-world building, scripting (LSL and OSSL), and Hypergrid travel between grids. The content you see here — regions, builds, classifieds, events — is created and maintained by the community and grid operators, not pre-packaged.
The virtual worlds hosted on our grid are user-generated, and the content is created and managed by the users themselves. This means that the responsibility for the content shared in these worlds lies with the respective users. We are not responsible for user-generated content created or shared in these virtual worlds, though we reserve the right to remove content that violates our Terms of Service.
